Dimes Square is a docu-fictive investigation of the ‘microneighborhood’ located in lower Manhattan. A Covid-era push for outdoor community spaces allowed the downtown scene to flourish. Dimes Square could be another trendy strip of restaurants and bars. But the endless subreddits and Twitter chains about its underground ongoings suggest otherwise.

This short film is a first attempt in unraveling the psyche of the cultural hub.
